Caryl Goldsmith Group Sales is a full-service theatre party agency working with all Broadway and Off-Broadway theatres as well as many not-for-profit companies in New York City. Its client base includes travel agents and tour operators, corporate groups, colleges, high schools, women’s clubs, charities, churches, synagogues, ethnic and special interest organizations.

Caryl, who hails from Baltimore where she was the city’s first woman movie-theatre manager, began her New York career as a sales promotion consultant, working for most of the major motion picture companies on their mega-musicals and target-audience films.

In 1972, she opened her own group sales office, gradually moving from movies to Off-Broadway where she helped create a group audience for some of New York’s most exciting and interesting attractions. As her clientele expanded, Caryl moved into the mainstream, becoming a licensed theatre party agent in the early 80’s. Her agency’s excellent reputation has been built on the personalized service she offers her clients.

Special discount rates are often available for groups of 15 or more. Each show determines its own price policy which is then passed on to the clients. The agency also offers theatre/dinner packages as well as dance, opera and cabaret performances.
